Sandeep Jagger was born in Belize. He has lived in the Caribbean most of his life. Mr. Jagger has a zero-absence record in his entire professional career and has been dedicated to every organization he was a part of. He is a British/EU Citizen, a citizen of Belize (CARICOM), Turks & Caicos Islands and an overseas citizen of India as such travel has never been an issue. He speaks English, Spanish, Hindi and Sindhi.
Mr. Jagger was the youngest Operations Officer to work for an offshore bank, securing the position at Barclays Bank PLC at age 17. While working for Barclays a part of his duties included setting the foreign exchange rates for the Turks & Caicos Government daily. Mr. Jagger was a part of the Integration Team and assisted in the merger of CIBC (Bahamas) Ltd and Barclays Bank PLC in the Caribbean. Streamlining operations and providing training on the ICBS/ABT Banking Platforms in Anguilla and Turks & Caicos as part of the FirstCaribbean Integration Team was one of his fondest memories. He was trained to be a Branch Ambassador in the Bahamas and was the banks top two performers in 2004. Mr. Jagger thereafter worked for the largest locally owned company on island, providing support and direction to 14 top companies, including Budget, Coca-Cola, DHL and Island Pride Supermarket. Mr. Jagger was instrumental in sourcing and installing the Point of Sale system at the supermarket, providing new line of products for Coco-Cola, sourcing new vehicles for the Budget franchise, managing the owners diverse commercial real estate portfolio and assisting in raising capital for various business opportunities. Mr. Jagger thereafter joined Sotheby’s International Realty as a Manager where he was trained into Luxury Sales & Property Management.
Mr. Jagger started Royal Realty Ltd in 2006 where he served as the CEO and Real Estate Broker. Royal Realty was in operation for 7 years prior to being sold in 2013, the company managed a portfolio of over US$60 Million in properties and listed in excess of $100 million in Real Estate. As CEO Mr. Jagger managed various administrative staff, maintenance managers, pool personnel, chefs, maids and other staff members that relate to providing services to vacation guests at properties under management. Mr. Jagger sold millions in Real Estate in the Turks & Caicos Islands and still enjoys being a Realtor®. Marketing of the properties for sale and rentals were all a part of his portfolio. Business Development activities and setting up ties with foreign partners in different regions of the world is something he has enjoyed doing. He reviewed the financial accounts of funds held in trust for each property and managed the company’s profit and loss and shareholder relations. In 2012, Mr. Jagger acquired the RE/MAX franchise for Turks & Caicos Islands and sold both Royal Realty Ltd and RE/MAX in 2013. At the time of sale, Royal Realty was the country’s largest property management firm.
Mr. Jagger was a Business Consultant with International Partnership Initiatives (IPI) with offices in New York, London, Kinston (Jamaica) and Turks & Caicos Islands. As a Business Consultant he was involved in research and development activities with different companies. Creating case studies of each company and finding ways to build stronger brands. Mr. Jagger took a project based approach to change and the overall consultancy practice. Client goals are discussed and agreed, thereafter an Action Plan designed and developed for joint implementation. A timetable, deliverables, tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined and a project takes shape to effect the changes required and corporate objectives achieved. In October 2009, Mr. Jagger acquired 30% of IPI and its international operations. In 2013 the board moved IPI’s registered head office to Castries, St. Lucia. He was the IPI appointed Project Manager for all EU funded projects in the Caribbean. Since 2009, he has developed bids and implemented over €5 Million in projects across the Caribbean. In 2014, IPI merged with a London based consultancy firm and Mr. Jagger was no longer a part of the operation.
In April 2012, due to the difficulties for small businesses and individuals to secure financing from traditional institutions, Mr. Jagger started Senson Group Ltd which is a licensed finance services company offering financing to small businesses and individuals. Senson Group has its own mortgage portfolio it manages. Senson Group not only finances, but also consults the small business owners in growing a successful business. Additionally, Senson Group Ltd is a licensed financial brokerage firm and acts as a broker for financing of international real estate projects. Currently it charges 2% to 5% of gross amount for this service based on whether funding is secured as a loan or equity. Fees are all performance based and no advance payments are requested.
Between 2013-2014, Mr. Jagger completed the consulting project with Quality Supermarket Ltd a multi-million-dollar grocery operation in the Turks & Caicos Islands in strategy and change management. Increased revenues by 200% and streamlined operations.
Mr. Jagger was a founding partner in Sunny Foods Retail & Wholesale Ltd, which is growing to be the largest distribution, cash & carry operation in the country. The wholesale operation is based out of an over 12,000 square feet operation on the Five Cays road, formerly the “Williams auditorium” in the Turks & Caicos Islands. MSME grocers are offered support in their businesses from merchandising to special promotions, strong bonds between wholesaler and grocers has increased sales, by purchasing on-island most MSMEs save tremendously versus shipping in LCLs.
Towards the end of 2013 the bottling of Castillo de Lontue wines started from the 200-acre estate in the Lontue Valley of Chile. Currently the winery offers Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Distribution centre is in Austin, Texas and head office is in New Jersey. The Jagger family trust had the majority holdings. The Chardonnay in 2014 won an award in California for its unique taste. In 2016, Mr. Jagger sold the company to South American wine investors.
In July 2014, Mr. Jagger joined the executive team of The Somerset Resort on Grace Bay Beach as the Director of Finance. The Somerset Resort is a five-star award winning resort on the world’s best beach. Mr. Jagger offered financial direction to the resort. He thereafter was acting General Manager for the resort.
In February 2020, Mr. Jagger acquired shares and is a partner in Charlie’s Variety Store and Charlie Depot, one of the country’s top liquor and miscellaneous dry goods supplier.
In April 2021, Mr. Jagger left Somerset Resort and joined Villa Renaissance, a luxury boutique hotel on Grace Bay beach as its General Manager, at the time of his departure from Villa Renaissance in July 2023, it was ranked # 4 on TripAdvisor amongst all hotels in Turks & Caicos. With over a decade experience at a senior level of Hospitality Management, Mr. Jagger brings experience and a strong background in finance.
Mr. Jagger is also the author of a book on Outsourcing. A licensed FAA Single Engine & Multi-Engine Pilot; he has a keen interest in Aviation holding numerous certifications in the field.
